Ian Thubron helps brands understand and engage the new breed of wealth in Asia. He knows China well, and in this Asia and the West podcast he outlines just why China’s approach to consumerism is so brilliant…and the “blink of an eyelid” speed at which it is creating change that will impact all of us.
He also explains why the fear some Westerners have of China is misplaced, and reflects a lack of understanding of what motivates the Chinese in their efforts to create their own future in the new world economy. Whether out-of-the-box innovation, or incremental improvement, they know how to commercialize opportunities and build them into successful businesses. Ian explains why we need to stop looking at China through the eyes of the West and start understanding that they provide a new and powerful opportunity for valuable collaboration.
